From Tents to Trendsetters: The Storied History of Tulsa's Parade of Homes

The Tulsa Parade of Homes has evolved from modest beginnings to a premier showcase of architectural innovation. For Envision Homes, participating in this event is a testament to our commitment to excellence in home building.

Humble Beginnings: In 1928, Tulsa's first Parade of Homes featured a Tudor Revival cottage built under a canvas tent. This unique presentation marked the start of a cherished tradition.

Post-War Boom: Following World War II, the U.S. faced a housing shortage. Builders responded by creating mass housing developments, leading to the inception of home tour events like the Parade of Homes to showcase new designs and attract buyers.

Growth Over the Years: From its modest start, the event has grown exponentially. By 2025, the Parade features over 80 new homes across multiple cities in the Tulsa region, including Bixby, Broken Arrow, and Jenks.

Today, the Parade of Homes stands as a testament to Tulsa's rich architectural history and the community's enduring love for innovative home design. Envision Homes is proud to be part of this tradition, showcasing our dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
